IntelliCom Communications Interface

This software package is a communications link and data analysis tool which is capable of connecting to one or multiple Vision Controllers. The programme enables the user to perform many controller tasks using a PC or laptop utilising the benefit of a standard Windows™ based environment.

The primary use of the software is to communicate with the Vision Controller locally via USB or RS232 or remotely via Ethernet or Modem. Once connected, the user can download data stored in the controller, perform a file transfer and save the downloaded files to their hard disk. It is also possible to display and update real time system variables and parameters.

IntelliCom provides all important accountability which is so essential in the environment we live in today. The ability to prove best practice has been followed at all times is invaluable.

IntelliCom includes the following capability.

• Information storage - data, set points, phone numbers, passwords etc.
• Viewing of real time data in tabular or graphical form
• Remote adjustment of controller set points, parameters etc.
• Automatic download of historical data (Autopoll)
• Transfer of data to an Excel™ format
• Notification by email of alarm status
• Customisable graphs of all stored data
• Log of all downloads and autopolls

• A Pentium 4.2 GHz or greater, 100% IBM PC compatible computer
• 128Mb RAM (Min.), preferably 256Mb
• 200Mb free hard disk space
• CDROM drive
• Minimum VGA display
• 10Mbit min. Ethernet connection (if used)
• 56000 baud min. 100% Hayes compatible modem (if used)
• USB connections - or
• Serial port with dedicated IRQ; COM1 through COM4

Software

• Windows™98Rev. B/2000 or above

Data Points

There are a total of 1170 Data Points available in a Controller that can be store before a download is necessary to prevent them being over written.
