Water Treatment Products Ltd underwent a successful ‘Investors In People’ audit and renewal of this important standard confirming our internal and external training meets the very latest requirements along with continued commitment from the team to deliver exceptional service and support.

January 2009

Environmental Standard Awarded Water Treatment Products Ltd has achieved certification to ISO 14001, the internationally recognised Environmental Management System Standard.

The certificate was awarded by United Register of Systems to Tim Carter, Director of Water Treatment Products Ltd in December 2008.  Water Treatment Products Ltd has been working towards the ISO 14001 standard for 12 months prior to the final audit procedure. The company supplies speciality water treatment chemicals under own label, to Water Treatment service providers throughout the UK and Europe. “The majority of our customers are concerned for the environment and in turn their own customers require that environmental standards are achieved. As a chemicals business we have always taken our environmental responsibilities very seriously and the standard is further confirmation of our commitment and to the investment we have made in the infrastructure of our production site.”

Our new 1 acre (freehold) site is complete which means we now have at our disposal 1x 10000 sq ft warehouse, 1x 8000 sq ft liquid blending and filling plant , 3500 sq ft offices and canteen. Adjacent to the new site sits our original 2x 3800 sq ft warehouses and 1 x 7600 sq ft powder blending and filling plant. Our liquid production facilities are fully bunded as is our loading and unloading yard. Our capacity is now 6000 tonnes per annum of packaged products in pack sizes from 250 ml to 1000 litre IBC Our support package includes 1 x 18 tonne Delivery /pump over Vehicle with tail lift, 5 x container fork lift trucks, 26 employees, 3 ADR drivers and 1 Dgsa.

Toroidal Conductivity Cooling Tower Controller.  Water Treatment Products Limited is proud to be able to announce the launch of a new Cooling Tower Water Treatment Controller offering many advantages and benefits.

MicroVision is a microprocessor-based toroidal conductivity controller with selectable timer and dual biocide control. Designed specifically for cooling tower applications, MicroVision offers as a standard, the features and functions required for accurate monitoring and control of cooling tower water.

Toroidal conductivity probe technology offers many advantages over conventional means of conductivity measurement. Water Treatment Products is proud to be able to offer RO411 and RO413 – Reverse Osmosis Antiscalants that are equivalent to the most popular branded products available in the market place. They are “approved by the Secretary of State”, “approved for use in public water supplies” and “approved under regulation 31 of the water Supply regulations 2000” Products are an aqueous solution containing the active ingredient Pentasodium nitrilotrismethylene phosphonate performing as a highly effective membrane antiscalant by mechanism of threshold scale inhibition across a broad spectrum of water types. On-line dosing minimises the formation of scale and foulants, and therefore prolongs the time period between cleaning. Compatible with all membrane types, and low dose rate requirements ensure cost benefits.

Following the successful completion of our new production building in December 2005 we are grateful and proud to announce that our business has increased significantly. We now require additional storage space for raw materials, and below you can see the progress of the new warehouse which is due for completion mid April 2007.

January 2007

Swimming Pool Chemicals Expansion Planning approval obtained and building work starting 15th Jan 2007 for extensive expansion of storage space in phase IV of the site development. The old No1 Unit is currently undergoing enabling works and demolition to make way for a new and much larger unit. The roof elevation to 6 metres allows for additional office accommodation and 400 pallet spaces of storage. The Pools Division has also expanded into adjacent units 3, 4, 5 and 6 and with a second powder packing line due for delivery at the end of January 2007.

We are able to offer a complete solution to the swimming pools chemicals market. Mr Tim Carter – Director, said “This division has continually provided excellent customer support in terms of order turnaround, quality, service and technical support. This investment is a continuation of a long term commitment to the Pool and Spa market”.

August 2006

Sanosil® S015 is now “approved under regulation 31 of the Water Supply (water quality) regulations 2000” for use as an emergency disinfectant. This will give major benefits to users of Sanosil® Super 25/ Silver peroxide products as Sanosil® S015 is safer to handle and easier to transport in small vehicles to point of use.

December 2005

New building and production facility was commissioned and operational on the 5th of December. The facility will allow for growth from 75,000 x 25 litre drums per annum (approximately 2000 tonnes) to over 240,000 x 25 litre drums per annum (6000 tonnes).

“This new capacity will enable us to cope with the largest Water Treatment customers in the market” said Tim Carter, Director.

As part of our new development we are now able to offer high quality demineralised/deionised produced from our own in house water treatment plant. A quality of < 0.1 microsiemen/centimetre – 18 Mohm, in small or large quantities is available.

The New WTP Facility Takes Shape The extension to the existing WTP premises which will ultimately provide an additional 10,000 sq ft manufacturing facility is well under way.

Tim Carter, Director, says “We are pleased to announce rapid progress with the construction which will enable us to provide an even better service to our customers by significantly increasing our manufacturing, stock holding and analytical capabilities. We are on schedule to complete June 2005.”

New fork lift trucks arrive at WTP Water Treatment Products have taken delivery of 3 brand new Nissan Fork Lift Trucks fitted with side shift specifically designed for loading shipping containers.

“We have seen a significant increase in export orders and the loading of containers is now an important part of our operation. Fork lift trucks that are specifically designed for the purpose are essential. Coupled with the ever increasing maintenance on the existing trucks, we took the decision to upgrade to the very latest trucks from Nissan. Improvements in safety will also be made as these trucks have the very latest driver comfort and safety features as standard.” Tim Carter, Director.

Janos Gomori, Managing Director announced that Water Treatment Products Ltd have been awarded the sole UK distributorship for the SANOSIL® range of products. Premises Expanded at Water Treatment Products Limited.

Water Treatment Products Ltd are delighted to announce further expansion of their business. During September 2004 the company purchased a one acre site in Blaenavon with 8,000 sq ft unit including warehousing, workshops and office accommodation.

Planning permission has been granted for the construction of an additional 10,000 sq ft manufacturing facility. Project Managers have been appointed; the construction phase is planned to commence

NEW Dosing Pump & Controller Web Site Launched. The new web site has been launched for the Pulsafeeder range of Dosing and Control Equipment. Water Treatment Products Limited – the UK distributor for PULSAtrol Controllers and PULSAtron Chemical dosing pumps – has launched a new web site www.watertreatmentproducts.co.uk to promote the companies range of Dosage and Control Equipment.

The web site contains useful information for water treatment companies such as product selection guides; generic data sheets that can be printed directly to resellers headed note paper; drawings and technical content that can be downloaded and used in presentations and quotations.

“We have aimed the site at the UK water treatment companies who buy in and resell equipment. It is user friendly with the data sheets and technical content specifically written for the UK market.” said Tim Carter, Director.

Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser Tim Carter, Director of Water Treatment Products Ltd. has been awarded the Department for Transport ‘Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser’ qualification.

This qualification is for undertakings which transport dangerous goods and for undertakings which carry out related loading or unloading in ‘ALL CLASSES BY ROAD’ in accordance with EC Directive 96/35/EC,2000/18/EC and Statutory Instrument 1999 No.257

Pulsafeeder Europe BV appoint Water Treatment Products Ltd as the UK distributor for PULSAtron Pumps, PULSAtron Plus Pumps, PULSAtrol Controllers, Mec-o-Matic and Chem-Tech Pumps. The official Launch of will take place at IWEX 2003 at The NEC Birmingham.
