Description

WTPCW503 is a specialised cleaning and passivating agent designed to aid filtration cleaning of new system pipework. Excellent performance is afforded at lower dosing levels and water usage than conventional treatments. The product contains nitrite, phosphinocarboxylates, yellow metal inhibitors, polymer buffers and adjuncts.

WTPCW503 remains in the system past commissioning and in conjunction with the final top inhibitor WTPCW25NA offers excellent long term protection to modern heating and chilled systems.

Dosage

  • WTPCW503 dosage is calculated and advised by our local water treatment chemist.
  • Dosing should be achieved via a recommended point in the system, e.g. a dosing pot or by a manually operated chemical injection pump.
  • CW503 should be added during or very soon after the initial fill.
  • Dose rates – 6 litres of WTPCW503 per cubic meter of system water.
  • System waters should always be analysed following dosing to ensure conditions are satisfactory.
  • A test kit is available to determine correct levels in the system; WTP TK106, the recommended normal concentration level is 400 – 600 ppm of Nitrite.
  • Final analysis when filter cleaning is complete will indicate the levels required for topping up.

Application

Please refer to material safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions. WTPCW503 is alkaline and contact with skin, eyes and clothing should be avoided. In case of contact flush with water. Avoid prolonged contact.

Packaging

WTPCW503 treatments are shipped in 25 litre and 205 litre non-returnable drums.
