WTPCA20

Description

WTPCA20 is an acid based, ready to use descaling solution. The product will descale showerheads, plumbing fittings, calorifiers, tanks and sanitary ware in one operation. WTPCA20 should be used neat for difficult to remove and heavy deposits. A solution of 1 part product to 3 parts water can be use for routine cleaning programs. WTPCA20 is a food grade material and can be used in as a cleaner/descaler in food and drink manufacturing.

Dosing

• The quantity required will depend on the nature and extent of the scale.
• As a rule of thumb 1 litre of WTPCA20 will remove 100 grams of Scale.
• On completion of descaling, components should be thoroughly rinsed with fresh mains water before reinstatement of service.

Please note: WTPCA20 can be used sparingly on decorative and Chromed finishes. Chrome plating will eventually be removed with repeated use.

Testing

Acid descaling kit – WTPTK149 is available to monitor scale removal.

Application

Please refer to material safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.

• In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
• For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
• Harmful if swallowed.

WTPCA20 should not be mixed with other products such as hypochlorite based solutions.  

Packaging

WTPCA20 treatments are shipped in 5 litre, 10 litre, 25 litre and 200 litre non-returnable drums.

Service

Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel.
