Dosage and Testing

  • WTP C32 is intended to be fed intermittently into the system.
  • Initial dosage of 500 mL m-3 of water should be added at a frequency that visibly controls microbiological growth.
  • Typical dosing for a clean system should be 100 – 200 mL m-3 of water.
  • Dose may vary depending on water temperature, cycles of concentration and seasonal requirements.
  • Heavily contaminated systems will require higher biocide doses than clean systems.
  • Draining, flushing and mechanical clearing is recommended if biological contamination is severe, as per ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • A drop test kit is available (WTP TK123) to determine correct levels in the system.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use. Please refer to safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, and clothing.
  • In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
