Description

WTPS124 is an economical, multi-functional boiler water treatment based upon Natural tannin, recommended for the complete control of softened boiler feedwater.

WTPS124 will control residual calcium hardness found in the feedwater or from condensate, adjust hydroxide levels for correct chemical balance, and eliminate dissolved oxygen to prevent pitting corrosion.

WTPS124 is particularly beneficial where boiler feed temperatures are below 80^oC.

Dosing and Testing

• Your representative will work closely with plant personnel to establish the correct regime for analysis. Recommended Tannin reserve 120 to 160 ppm.
• A tannin drop test kit (WTPTK109) is available to determine correct reserves in the system.

Application

Please refer to material safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions. 

• Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
• In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
• For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
• Harmful if swallowed.
• Do not leave exposed to atmosphere.

Packaging

WTPS124 treatments are shipped in 25 litre and 200 litre non-returnable drums.

Service

Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel.
