Description

WTPS94 ACT is recommended for the direct injection to steam headers to prevent carbonic acid and oxygen attack of pipework and components in condensate systems. WTPS94 ACT forms a complete barrier film on the metal surfaces preventing corrosive attack. WTPS94 ACT is all organic in nature and does not contain amines and its components are approved under FDA and Dairy applications. The product is designed to be applied as part of a total boiler treatment programme.

Treatment Requirements

The dosage varies based on the concentration of free carbon dioxide in the steam generated by the breakdown of feedwater M alkalinity.

Maximum product dose rate is 100 ppm.

Testing and Control

Field representatives will work closely with plant personnel to initiate and maintain effective control procedures.

Feeding

WTP S94 ACT can be dosed to systems using manual dosing pots or metering pumps.

Application

Please refer to material safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
  • In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
  • For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
  • Harmful if swallowed.
  • Do not leave exposed to atmosphere.
Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Please refer to Safety Data Sheets for detailed handling and storage information. Do not allow to freeze.  

Packaging

WTPS94 ACT treatments are shipped in 25 litre and 200 litre non-returnable drums. Shelf life – 6 months.

Service

Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel.
