WTPSP20 is an acid based, ready to use descaling solution. The product will descale showerheads, plumbing fittings, calorifiers, tanks and sanitary ware in one operation. WTPSP20 should be used neat for difficult to remove and heavy deposits.

  • A solution of 1 part product to 3 parts water can be use for routine cleaning programs.
  • The quantity required will depend on the nature and extent of the scale.
  • As a rule of thumb 1 litre of WTPSP20 will remove 100 grams of Scale.
  • On completion of descaling, components should be thoroughly rinsed with fresh mains water before reinstatement of service.

Please note: WTPSP20 can be used sparingly on decorative and Chromed finishes. Chrome plating will eventually be removed with repeated use.


Acid descaling kit – WTPTK149 is available to monitor scale removal.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
  • In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
  • For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
  • Harmful if swallowed. 
WTPSP20 should not be mixed with other products such as hypochlorite based solutions.


WTPSP20 treatments are shipped in 5 litre, 10 litre, 25 litre and 200 litre non-returnable drums.


Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel
