Description

WTP Phos40 is a descaling cleaning agent based on Phosphoric Acid, for use in steam boilers, closed circuits, calorifiers, plant and process equipment.

WTP Phos40 is excellent for use as a chemical cleaning agent.

Dosing

• Chemical dosage of WTP Phos40 will depend upon system requirements and the amount of chemical used will be in proportion to scaling.
• WTP Phos40 can be dosed direct from the shipping drum.
• WTP Phos40 should only be in contact with metal surfaces for duration of the cleaning process. The cleaning process should be continuously monitored.

Testing

Measurement of system pH with a meter (WTPTKC019) can be used to monitor the pH at various points of the system, this will ensure correct chemical balance is maintained. As the pH rises due to the neutralization of the acid by the scale, further product will need to be added until descaling is completed.

Acid descaling kit – WTPTK149 is available to monitor scale removal.

Packaging

WTP Phos40 treatments are shipped in 25 litre and 205 litre non-returnable drums.

Service

Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Qualified personnel can provide regular service calls.
