WTPH515 is based upon zinc / phosphate technology incorporating antiscalant additives and Zn stabilizing polymer. WTPH515 offers excellent corrosion control for soft to low hardness make up waters, together with a dispersant to reduce scale deposition in critical equipment. The product is also strongly acidic and is designed to aid pH control in cooling waters below pH 8.3 thus reducing scaling potential.

  • WTPH515 is shot dosed at 400 ppm to system waters to provide initial passivation
  • However continuous proportional dosing, to make up water usage, offers the best corrosion control and cost effective application of product. (Dosage rates of 50-100ppm dependent upon system conditions would be recommended.)
  • Details of proportional dosing systems can be supplied by our representatives
  • A Zinc drop test kit is available to monitor chemical dosing (WTPTK110). Zn levels of 2 to 4 ppm will offer good corrosion control.
