WTP Showerhead Plus


Shower Head Plus is an acid based, ready to use descaling solution encompassing a proprietary biocide.

WTP Shower Head Plus has proven efficacy against Legionella.

The European Legionella Disinfection Test Standard (1995) for Legionella Pneumophila Serogroup 1 (NTCC 11192) gave control at 30 second contact time for 1:3 dilutions.

The product will descale and sanitize showerheads, plumbing fittings and sanitary ware in one operation.

WTP Shower Head Plus should be used neat for difficult to remove and heavy deposits. Immersion in a solution of 1 part product to 3 parts water can be used for routine cleaning programs. When the product colour changes from yellow to blue/green fresh solution should be used.

WTP Shower Head Plus can be used sparingly on decorative and chromed finishes. On completion of descaling, components should be thoroughly rinsed with fresh mains water before reinstatement of service.

WTP Shower Head Plus should not be mixed with other products such as hypochlorite based solutions.


Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use. Please refer to material safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
  • In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
  • For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Harmful if swallowed.


WTP treatments are shipped in 5, 10, 25 and 205 litre non returnable drums.
