Description

WTP SS1350 is a solid, economical, multi-functional boiler water treatment recommended for the complete control of softened boiler feedwater. WTP SS1350 will control residual calcium hardness found in the feedwater or from condensate, and eliminate dissolved oxygen to prevent pitting corrosion. WTP SS1350 contains a lignosulphonate to aid dispersion.

Dosing

WTP SS1350 dosage is proportional to the oxygen content of the feedwater and should be dosed to achieve acceptable pH and sulphite reserves.

Boiler sulphite range 30 to 70 mg/l

The following formulation can used as a guide:-

Product gms per m³ feed = (16 x ppm oxygen) + (55)/Boiler Concentration Factor

ppm oxygen can be determined from the graph of temperature vs ppm O₂ in BS2486.

Testing and Control

Your representative will work closely with plant personnel to establish the correct regime for analysis.

Handling

Please refer to safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions.

• Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
• In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
• For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
• Harmful if swallowed.
• Do not leave exposed to atmosphere.

Packaging

WTP SS1350 treatments are shipped in 6kg non-returnable HDPE jars.

Service

Field representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel.
