Description

WTP CHLOR 15D is a chlorination solution used to disinfect water systems such as evaporative cooling towers and hot and process waters systems.

WTP CHLOR 15D is a highly effective oxidising biocide, giving excellent biological control at low dose rates. A dispersant/surfactant is incorporated in the formulation to enhance the penetration of biofilms and organic fouling.

Application

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use. DOSING AND TESTING WTP CHLOR 15D chlorinating solutions are usually dosed to give a concentration of free chlorine between 1 – 50mg per litre dependent upon type of chlorination, system specification and application. Services personnel would be pleased to advise on correct application. Chlorine test kits are available to determine correct levels in the system (WTP TK115, 0-5ppm or WTP TK116, 0-100ppm). HANDLING AND STORAGE Please refer to material safety data sheet for detailed handling/storage instructions. 

• Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
• In case of contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and water.
• For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
• Harmful if swallowed.

WTP CHLOR 15D should be stored in black containers and exposure to sunlight should be kept to a minimum. WTP CHLOR 15D should not be stored with organic materials and acids. Contact with acids liberates toxic (R31) chlorine gas. See material safety sheet for full safety and spillage procedures.

Packaging

WTP CHLOR 15D treatments are shipped in 5 litre, 25 litre and 200 litre drums.

Service

Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel.
