WTPS28
WTPS28 is a formulated blend of selected natural tannins. WTPS28 is a convenient liquid oxygen scavenger and is recommended for use in steam boiler plant, feedwater storage tanks and closed circuit heating systems.
WTPS28 provides corrosion control by scavenging oxygen and by forming a protective iron/tannate film. Scale control is also provided by disrupting crystal growth. Suitable for boilers with base exchange softeners in areas of good natural alkalinity in the makeup water.

WTPS28 is normally dosed to achieve a reserve of 120 – 160 mg/L of tannins in the boiler water. Optimum treatment reserves will be specified by Service Chemists
Tannin test kit (WTPTK109) can be used to determine levels after dosing.
WT S28 treatments are shipped in 25 litre and 200 litre non-returnable drums.
Field Representatives will work closely with customer personnel to assure the effective application of the water treatment programme. Regular service calls can be provided by qualified personnel.
