A MORE FLEXIBLE APPROACH TO WATER TESTING: INSIDE OUR NEW ENGINEERS’ KITS

When putting together our new Engineers PrimeLab and BG50 PrimeLab kits, we wanted to look beyond the testing equipment itself and consider how engineers organise, transport and use their kits on site.

Both kits are supplied in robust Peli cases featuring a modular foam insert system, designed to offer greater flexibility when configuring and organising testing equipment.

A MODULAR DESIGN WITH FLEXIBILITY BUILT IN

Rather than having a fixed internal layout, the cases feature coloured, interchangeable foam inserts that fit together like a jigsaw.

This allows the internal arrangement to be adapted to accommodate additional reagents, alternative meters or comparators, subject to the overall configuration and available space.

Whether you need to make room for additional testing equipment or prefer an alternative to the supplied meter, the modular design provides greater scope to tailor the layout to your requirements.

CHOICE OF METER CONFIGURATIONS

Both the Engineers PrimeLab and BG50 PrimeLab kits are available with a choice of two meter configurations depending on your budget and requirements:

  • PC450 meter

  • PCSTestr meter

Both configurations retain the PrimeLab 2.0 photometer as the central testing instrument, alongside a selection of complementary testing equipment.

BUILT AROUND PRACTICAL REQUIREMENTS

The aim of the new kit designs is to bring together a useful range of testing equipment in a practical, organised and adaptable package.

With the robust Peli case, interchangeable foam inserts and choice of meter configurations, engineers have greater flexibility when selecting a kit to suit their day-to-day testing needs.

The introduction of these kits is also part of WTP's wider review of its water testing range, with further improvements continuing to be considered.
