WTP Achieves NSF Certification for Multi Functional Corrosion Inhibitor
On 1st February 2021, WTP Ltd was awarded Certificate NSF2408/0221, external and independent verification of the excellent performance of ‘WTP CW0.5M Multi-Functional Corrosion Inhibitor’. Developed for the prevention of corrosion in heating, domestic, commercial and industrial multi-metal systems, its use negates the need for multiple treatments in estates with multiple systems. The product can also be used in district heating, HIU’s, runaround systems, LTHW and chilled water.
To achieve NSF certification CW0.5M has been rigorously tested to comply with all standard requirements set by CIAS (Chemical Inhibitor Assessment Scheme); including performance requirements under corrosive conditions, scale inhibitor and compatibility with plastic and rubber seals.
WTP Ltd Technical Team prepared and organised a comprehensive application to meet the stringent requirements of NSF approval.
As Tim Carter, MD says “It is important in the chemical manufacturing market to develop products to required standards and to meet NSF specifications. Customers need to be confident that the inhibitors they apply to ‘closed systems’ are independently approved to best possible standards.”
