Description

WTP CS 4400 is a solid dispersant for general use in cooling towers and process applications. The product will penetrate biofilms, thus aiding the action and effectiveness of biocides.

WTP CS 4400 is based upon a blend of surfactants and may produce foam in mechanically agitated systems if over dosed. A biocide is incorporated into the formulation to enhance the effectiveness.

Dosing

Cooling Towers

• WTP CS 4400 is dosed at 10ml – 40ml to 1000 litres of system water.
• It is recommended to dose the product at low level and then increase in small amounts to avoid any unnecessary foaming.

• For a retention time of four hours good kill rates of legionella species have been demonstrated.
• Systems known to be contaminated with legionella will require twice weekly dosing at the higher level of 350 ppm for several weeks to provide effective control.

• Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes to prevent mild irritation.
• In case of accidental contact, flush area with clean water.
• Product should not be ingested.
