WTPCS4490
WTP CS4490 is a fast acting, non-oxidising biocide formulation with a broad spectrum of activity. WTP CS4490 has been developed to control planktonic and sessile micro-organisms which form as biofilms in systems and their pre-treatment systems.
WTP CS4490 is compatible with system components and can be used with other water treatment products as part of a routine treatment and maintenance programme.

WTP CS4490 is dosed at 5 – 20 mg/l (for a clean system) and should be circulated for 4 hours.
Half life and retention times must be calculated to accommodate losses.
DBNPA was effective in preventing recovery of the target organism from the test water.
In an uncompromised environment used in laboratory procedures (0.85 percent saline), DBNPA gave complete inhibition of L. pneumophila at 4 ppm and 2 hour exposure
