Description

WTPCL-KQ472 is a neutral ph Pre-commission Cleaning Agent designed to remove Iron Oxide and Mill scale from new pipework systems. WTP CL-KQ472 is a formulated blend of powerful cleaning agents. It removes Iron Oxide from multi-metal systems whilst protecting the base metal from further corrosion.

WTPCL-KQ472 allows for easier system flushing and improves final results can be used where Aluminium is present.

Dosing

• WTPCL-KQ472 is dosed at 1% system volume (10l per 1000 litre). Dosage can be increased for particularly dirty systems.
• Circulate for 24 hours ensuring contact with all system internal surfaces.
• WTPCL-KQ472 can be recirculated for up to 14 days if required.
• Levels can be monitored with a simple on site TDS/conductivity test. (See Graph). 

Inhibitors

Once the cleaning process is complete and the system has been flushed to remove the WTPCL-KQ472 solution, a suitable inhibitor should be used. Inhibitors such as WTPCW25 and WTPM27 are also available.

Measuring

Dosed at 1% of system volume, as recommended, the conductivity expected is 1800µS.
